The presidential couple Eva and Petr Pavel ceremonially plant the Olga Havel Tree at Prague Castle

Join the ceremony, which will take place on 10 November at 14:00 in the Deer Moat at Prague Castle! The President of the Republic Petr Pavel, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Vojtěch Sedláček, the Director of the Foundation Monika Granja and Olga's close friend Anna Freimanová will address the participants of the memorial meeting. The song for Olga will be sung by its author Aneta Langerová accompanied by Jakub Zitko and the Maranatha Gospel Choir.

Filip Pšenčík: "To start giving back what others have given me."

In recent years, the Olga Havel Prize has also begun to promote the generation of so-called millennials. After the thirty-year-olds Tereza Nagyová, Martina Půtová and Dita Horochovská, this year's laureate is the thirty-one-year-old Filip Pšenčík. Like his predecessor, Filip refutes unflattering clichés that portray this generation as self-centred, lazy, unable to grow up and accept responsibility.
