Visitors of the Golden Lane at Prague Castle can buy small works of art made by children and adults with disabilities and thus to support them.
Golden Lane at Prague Castle is a picturesque street with houses dating from the late 16th century. Currently, there are galleries, quaint little shops and expositions inside.
Since 1993, according to Olga Havel's wish, a gallery selling souvenirs from sheltered workshops, staffed by people with disabilities, schools and other facilities supported by the Foundation, resides in the house No. 19, long-term leased from the Prague Castle Administration. The gallery sells postcards, pictures and cards painted by children, fine ceramics, seasonal decorations and textile products.
Golden Lane is very popular among tourists from around the world, so the good reputation of the Foundation spreads abroad.
